This yearly summer contest is intended to help the magazine promote Young Haitians globally in a positive light. All of the final 100 candidates are winners in our book, and each was interviewed to discuss their skills, backgrounds, line of work, aspirations, accomplishments, etc.

Everyone can participate again next year, except for this year’s cover winner. However, the cover winner can still be featured in future editions of the magazine.
Top 10 countries:
US, Haiti, Canada, Dominican Republic, Chile, France, Brazil, UK, Mexico, Bahamas
Our 5 finalists must be among the top 15 most-voted contestants, as per the initial contest rules.
The cover winner will receive a $4,000 one-year contract from Rankontre as its newest ambassador.
The four finalists will each receive $300 for a photo shoot for a two-page spread inside the magazine.
After evaluating all the votes, our 2022 HOT 100 YOUNG HAITIANS 5 finalists are: Soraya Louis, Yvana Romelus, Judeline Barthelemy, Stevens Dorcelus, and Markinson Alume.
Congratulations to our five finalists and major congratulations to our newest cover girl: Entry #84, Soraya Louis from Port-au-Prince, Haiti! She’s the Communication Officer for Food For the Poor Haiti and has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in Intercultural Communication from the University of Bridgeport. She also has a Bachelor’s in International Political Economy and Diplomacy (IPED) from the same university and a Master’s in Global Development and Peace with a focus on Human Security. She’s currently enrolled in a second Master’s program in Law in International Human Rights at the University of Law, London.
The 2022 HOT 100 YOUNG HAITIANS magazine edition will be published by July 15th, 2022.Â
