I have always wanted to bring Haitian culture into the spotlight and I feel as though this, in addition to my DJing, would be one of the best outlets to do so.
I’m a 21 year old Haitian descendant. My mom was born in Port Au Prince and came to the US when she was about 7/8 years old. Ever since I was young I’ve had an extreme love for the Haitian culture that I was raised in, but nothing spoke to me more than the music. I began DJing when I was about 13 and have been progressively making sure Kompa/Raboday/etc is being played in clubs and parties all over the state of Delaware. My ultimate goal is to one day be able to have Haitian music played on major radio stations across the country.
