The Royal Oasis Hotel

The Royal Oasis Hotel is a four-star hotel in the center of Petionville. The neighborhood is safe and welcoming to all tourists and guests from out of town. The people at the hotel will be friendly and accommodating to your needs and wishes.

A big reason why the neighborhood is so safe is that you have government agencies, international corporate offices, and embassy buildings within the vicinity of the hotel. You’ll notice the entire neighborhood has well-maintained tropical landscaping and several other gorgeous features. But you won’t want to travel around too much because there is plenty to do at the hotel.

The architectural design of the hotel is more on the modern side. The international groups of tourists who visit the hotel each year feel comfortable being there. It does not feel like a foreign land when they step foot in front of the hotel for the first time.

Reviews

It’s a 27-minute drive from Toussaint Louverture International Airport to the Royal Oasis Hotel. Fortunately, the hotel provides a free shuttle service for guests after they arrive at the airport. If you don’t plan on driving anywhere else while you’re in the city, then you can simply use the shuttle service to travel between the airport and hotel.

There are three restaurants available at the hotel. Two of these restaurants include La Villa and Le Petit Gourmand. The former serves local-style cuisine and is available for dinner only, while the latter is a café that serves local cuisine too. In the mornings, you can enjoy a breakfast buffet for $15 per person if you wish to experience that as well.

There are several different room choices, such as the superior room, junior suite, standard twin room, king suite, and a standard single room. The rooms are not very big, but they can fit between 2 to 5 guests at a time.

Amenities

The Royal Oasis Hotel has a whopping 128 rooms available for guests. They’re all air-conditioned and offer complimentary bottled water, safes, flatscreen televisions, hairdryers, toiletries, bathrobes, showers, refrigerators, cable channel access, premium bedding, free Wi-Fi internet access, and daily housekeeping. If you’re in the mood for an alcoholic beverage or cup of coffee, you can head on over to the bar & lounge or the coffee shop cafe.

All of your banking services can be handled onsite. There are ATMs and staff members who can assist you with traveller’s checks and things like that. If you’d like to browse the art gallery, there is one available on site. It features local cultural art that might give you a better appreciation for Haiti and its history.

Do you like to exercise? The hotel has a 24-hour fitness facility where you can lift weights and perform cardio exercises. But if you’d rather get your cardio outside, you can try out the large swimming pool next to the hotel.

Wedding Space

The Royal Oasis Hotel allows wedding events to be planned at the hotel. There are four reception rooms you can choose from for the wedding. The hotel takes care of all the food and beverage preparations, thanks to its friendly chef and sous-chef. They work with clients to prepare the food menu for their weddings. Just let them know what kind of food you want to have at your wedding, and they’ll do their best to accommodate your wishes.

Conclusion

The Royal Oasis Hotel is not a beachfront property, and that is okay. It is in a central location of the city, so you are within walking distance to many other restaurants, landmarks and cultural attractions. If you want to go to the beach, you can always rent a car and drive about 15 kilometers to Port-au-Prince Bay.
