El Rancho Hotel Haiti

El Rancho Hotel

The El Rancho Hotel, which is also known as the NH Haiti El Rancho, is located in the city center of Petionville. The boardwalk is within walking distance of the hotel. It is a popular area for tourists who like to visit Petionville and experience the different shops and restaurants that it has to offer.

You’ll find some famous Haitian landmarks in the vicinity as well, such as the Champs de Mars and the Church of St. Peter. If you’re in the mood to learn about Haitian culture, then visit the nearby National Pantheon Museum. There is so much to do inside and outside of the hotel, so you will never be bored.

Do you like to gamble? An onsite casino can be found at the hotel too. It is a large casino with all your favorite games, such as blackjack, roulette, and slots. It might not compare to a Las Vegas casino, but it is a great way to kick back and try to win a few bucks while you take a break from sightseeing and dining.

Reviews

The critics describe the El Rancho Hotel has a 3.5-star hotel. But don’t let the lower star rating fool you because it comes with a plethora of accommodations and amenities. The two biggest luxuries missing are the beaches and spas.

Aside from that, the El Rancho Hotel gives you everything you could ever want in a getaway hotel. It features multilingual staff, luggage storage, laundry facilities, dry cleaning services, housekeeping, and the most common amenities that you would expect to find in a classy hotel.

It is only a 28-minute drive to get to the El Rancho Hotel from the Port-au-Prince International Airport. There are taxis in the area, or you can rent a car to get there. The first option is better because once you get to the hotel, all of the nearby attractions are within walking distance. So, you could save yourself money by not renting a car after you get to the airport.

Amenities

There is a total of 72 air-conditioned rooms in the El Ranch Hotel. Each room includes a washer, dryer, security safe, plasma television, cable channels, showers, toiletries, hairdryers, free Wi-Fi internet access, complimentary bottled water, coffee makers, and tea makers. The hotel also has a restaurant, two bars with lounging areas, free self-parking, poolside bar, conference center and fitness center.

You’ll notice a lot of these amenities have a “self-service” aspect about them. The El Rancho might not spoil you with luxuries, but they provide the essentials to create a joyous experience for their guests.

Wedding Space

The El Ranch Hotel does provide wedding services for anyone who wishes to use the hotel as their wedding venue. The staff members go out of their way to create the ideal destination wedding for couples who want to get married there. Not only does the staff make sure that guests are comfortable, but they are very welcoming to their guests as well.

When you make a reservation for a wedding at the El Rancho Hotel, you are assigned an event manager to assist you with the arrangements. The event manager is like a personal wedding planner who works exclusively at the hotel. They take care of the decorations, food catering and other planning efforts to ensure your wedding day goes smoothly.

Conclusion

The El Rancho Hotel has plenty of palm trees and scenic views of the hills and mountains on the outside. The staff members are accommodating, and there are enough amenities and sights to keep you entertained. Even though there are fancier hotels in Haiti, the lower price of the El Ranch Hotel makes up for it. You can still enjoy a wonderful vacation getaway without breaking the bank.
