Christel Saint-Fort considers herself to be a pure Haitian in heart and spirit. Her life hasn’t been easy, but recent years have shown her that nothing is out of reach for those who work hard. Christel is thankful for the talent and unbreakable spirit she was born with and always honors these gifts by embracing a strong work ethic.
Christel is a law student, but she plans to use other her qualities to their fullest to achieve her life goals. As a result, at 24 years of age, Christel is a singer, songwriter, model, and online influencer who hopes to increase her visibility and reach as much as possible in the coming years.
She also hopes to prioritize her modeling career, as she suspects she has the looks, talent, and presence to do it. “I think I am the embodiment of Haitian beauty,” she says. Christel aims to carry her Haitian legacy with her and use it to her best advantage – something she’s confident will eventually happen.
“I think I am the embodiment of Haitian beauty,” she says.
Christel’s ultimate goal is to break into the modeling world, but she wants to become better at everything she does, including her singing. She wants to travel the world, experience new cultures, and become financially and professionally independent.
She’s aware of the hard work that will be necessary to reach her goals, but she’s ready for it. Christel knows that nothing in life is free and has no unreasonable expectations. It all comes down to effort, discipline, and vision. And she has all of them.
“I believe I can encourage other black girls to love, accept, and believe in themselves a little more every day.”
Christel believes anyone can follow in her footsteps because her path is not unique. She hasn’t had special opportunities or a privileged lifestyle. Rather, everything she has is the result of a supportive family and her determination to change her life for the better. As Christel puts it: “I believe I can encourage other black girls to love, accept, and believe in themselves a little more every day.”
Christel believes that being Haitian, black, and a woman poses a triple challenge – but also that commitment to one’s goals will always break through any obstacles. That’s why she plans to become a role model for others, especially young girls coming from broken families and unsuitable environments.
She believes she can make a positive change in others’ lives by becoming the best version of herself and serving as an inspiration. She’s already making solid progress toward that goal.
