Sabine Dieme-Erlich was born in Miami and currently lives in South Florida. Growing up in a Haitian household has profoundly influenced how Sabine views the world. Haitian culture, with its emphasis on resilience, faith, and overcoming adversity, has shaped her optimistic outlook on life.
Sabine believes that no matter the challenges, with the right mindset and trust in God, anything is possible. This cultural heritage has fueled her passion for helping others rise above personal trials and find healing.
Education and Professional Life
Sabine pursued her higher education at Florida International University (FIU), where she earned an MBA with specializations in business data analytics, marketing channel strategy, and strategic negotiations.
Currently, she works as a senior finance professional in the environmental services department of her organization. In addition to her corporate role, Sabine is deeply committed to social causes. Sabine founded Pathways to Power, a nonprofit organization that supports victims and survivors of human trafficking, sex trauma, and promotes mental health.
Sabine is also the curator of Lights, Camera, Action for Change: A Stand Against Abuse in Entertainment, an initiative that brings attention to abuse within the entertainment industry.
Accomplishments and advocacy
Sabine’s most significant accomplishments revolve around her work in mental health advocacy and supporting survivors of trauma. Founding Pathways to Power has been one of her proudest achievements, as it allows her to empower survivors and raise awareness about the importance of mental health.
Additionally, she launched Lights, Camera, Action for Change, which debuted as a virtual event in February 2023. The initiative focuses on combating abuse in the entertainment industry and has garnered attention for its powerful message.
Balancing her career, advocacy work, and family life is an accomplishment in itself. Sabine dedicates herself to balancing her professional responsibilities, personal life, and her passion for helping others.
Goals and Future Plans
Sabine has big plans for the next 12 months, including launching her podcast Pathways to Power. Through this platform, she aims to share stories of resilience and offer guidance to individuals going through their own challenges.
She is also committed to building a community, particularly among young Haitian creatives, and using the power of storytelling to inspire others. Sabine wants to create spaces where people can heal and grow through art, culture, and shared experiences.
Talents and Personal Interests
Sabine is an emerging public speaker, crisis counselor, and writer. She is passionate about developing these talents to better serve her community and raise awareness on critical issues like mental health.
For fun, Sabine enjoys creating content focused on mental wellness, learning about others’ journeys, and spending time with her supportive family, which includes her husband, children, parents, and siblings.
