Pierre Michel Serelus, born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and currently living in Delmas 75, is a passionate advocate of sustainable development, social justice, and equity. His inspirations come from individuals striving to make an impact on others, particularly those of black excellence. His Haitian heritage and pride in being a part of the first black republic shape his views of the world and fuel his desire to contribute positively.
Education and Career Aspirations
Pierre graduated from Institution Saint-Louis Gonzague in 2013, then completed four years of study at the University of Notre Dame of Haiti to earn a degree in International Relations. Since 2021, he’s been working in his chosen field, though he aspires to expand his influence more broadly.
Pierre hopes to be more involved with international organizations that tackle global issues like poverty, hunger, and social inequities. His ambition is to make a difference in sustainable development and humanitarian work. Currently, Pierre is focused on pursuing a Master’s degree that will equip him with the expertise he needs to further his career and increase his impact.
Accomplishments and Recent Successes
Pierre has worked hard to improve himself and is proud of his academic progress. Over the year, he’s maintained a disciplined routine to balance work, gym sessions, and self-improvement, which he considers a key achievement during this period.
Talent and Skills
Pierre is a talented writer and public speaker who’s recognized for his ability to articulate ideas and inspire others. He hopes to use these talents to benefit the Haitian community and the world beyond. His ultimate goal is to support Black people, advocate for women’s rights, and promote child protection by creating trauma-free environments for Haitian youth.
Platform and Message
Given the platform, Pierre would advocate for issues close to his heart, including Black empowerment, tolerance, acceptance, and inclusion. He believes in creating healthier relationships between people, regardless of their backgrounds or preferences, and would address societal issues such as colorism and intolerance in Haitian culture.
Pierre’s vision is to build stronger communities where people support and uplift one another. He dreams of a society where young people can grow up free from trauma and are protected from the harmful effects of social media. His platform would focus on fostering respect, acceptance, and the importance of belonging to a supportive community.
Personal Interests and Hobbies
In his spare time, Pierre enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with friends. He appreciates the value of social connection and loves exchanging ideas with others. He also enjoys exploring nature and often heads to the mountains to reconnect with the natural world and find peace away from the bustle of city life.
