Creative Accomplishments and Career Aspirations

One of Langlichmie’s most significant accomplishments is the publication of “Spiritual Fasting | Jeûne Mystique ou Jeûne Vodouisant” in English and French. The book explores spiritual fasting and its roots in Vodou traditions to educate readers on a misunderstood aspect of Haitian culture. It’s available on Langlichmie’s website, langlichmie.com, and Amazon.

In addition to writing, Langlichmie is building a career as a filmmaker. She’s inspired by industry titans like Shonda Rhimes and hopes to establish herself as a reputable self-employed producer.

Recent Accomplishments

In the past year, Langlichmie has made great strides personally and professionally. In November 2023, she hosted a successful Gede event and book signing to celebrate her birthday. Her goals for the upcoming year include hosting another Gede event in November 2024, continuing her book tour, and creating more uplifting cultural events. Her long-term ambition is to become an established filmmaker and producer and use her platform to promote Haitian culture, particularly Vodou, which she believes is often misunderstood.
