I would like to be on the cover of Haiti Open magazine, because I believe our shared mission of uplifting and empowering the Haitian community deeply aligns. As a former law enforcement officer turned speaker, crisis counselor, and advocate for mental health and survivors of human trafficking, my journey is one of transformation, resilience, and unwavering dedication to fostering change. My background in law enforcement provided me with a unique perspective on the challenges and crises that disproportionately affect marginalized communities. This experience ignited a passion for mental health through social justice and led me to pivot towards a mission-driven path. I’ve since dedicated myself to creating platforms and events that not only raise awareness but also empower our community to take action. My latest initiative, “Lights, Camera, Action for Change,” is a testament to our collective power to combat abuse in the entertainment industry—a sector that mirrors larger societal issues.
