My name is Noldia Diane Augustin, I am 25 and a proud Haitian. I was born in Trenton, NJ, USA, however, my dad made sure me and my siblings truly knew the beautiful history of Haiti. I was to be on the cover to show, you can be Haitian and proud no matter where you are born. The love I have for my people and my country, I am constantly sharing awareness to my peers and others, explaining everything you see about Haiti in the news does not define who we are or what we’re meant to be. Neither does the news show that we are real people, wether you’re in Haiti or the USA or Europe we all are suffering see what’s happening to our country. We are resilient people who will never give up. We are the first to take are freedom and nothing they try to do to us, will erase that history.
