My name is Vanessa Dussuau I am 36 years and a mother 5 children. Born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Love everything about where I’m from and everything about being Haitian. I am the CEO of Gabianna’s Hair Studio LLC and Hairstylist. I became a mother at the age of 17 and wouldn’t change a thing. My children make me who I am. I am domestic abuse survivor. I am no longer a victim and want other women know it’s ok walk away and that you can get out. It may not by way but can be done. Don’t stay to keep your family together but leave to keep your family whole. I want to be apart of Haitiopen because I love what this represents. This so much bigger then just being on the cover. This is about the experience of being able to help my country get back to what it use to be.
