Parents From: My father is from Pestel, Grand'Anse, Haiti
Born in Port-au-Prince and raised in Les Cayes and Pestel, I am an engineer with a passion for space exploration. Despite many challenges, I excelled academically and athletically, playing Division 1 soccer, and earning both a bachelor's in electrical engineering and a master’s in astronautical engineering. Now, I aspire to work in the space industry and become the first astronaut of Haitian descent. In my free time, I also play soccer at the semi-professional level. Inspired by fellow Haitians like Isabel Joseph and my sister Aïsha, I aim to inspire others and give back to Haiti, particularly in communities like Pestel and Corail. I envision creating opportunities for kids in these communities to pursue their dreams, whether they be academic or athletic. Being on the cover of Haiti Open would honor my Haitian roots and allow me to serve as a role model for aspiring Haitian engineers and athletes, while also highlighting the importance of education and perseverance in achieving dreams.
