I would love to be featured, let alone be able to grace the front the cover to show how beautiful and diverse our culture is. I've always embraced my culture and represented every chance I get. I know i don't look like a typical example of what people think a "haitian" woman should look like, and I think that makes it even more powerful for all of as a community to celebrate those differences and still claim them! I always hear beautiful stories from all my uncles and my grand father.
