The magazine uses this annual year-end contest to highlight Haitian professionals, interview them, and publish their stories. While the magazine cover is one of the prizes, the most crucial aspect is the publication of stories about Haitian professionals who are making remarkable contributions in their respective fields.
Thank you to all of our participants, and congratulations to everyone who made it onto our RAPIDD PROFESSIONALS 2024Â list.Â
Everyone can participate again next year, except for this year’s cover winner. However, future editions of the magazine can still feature the cover winner.
Our five finalists must be among the top 10 overall contestants, as per the initial contest rules.
The cover winner will receive a $4,000 one-year contract from Rapidd as its newest ambassador (and it’s optional to promote Rapidd; the cover winner can choose to forego the spokesperson contract).
The other 4 finalists will each receive $400 for a photo shoot for their two-page spread inside the magazine.
After analyzing all of our voting records from both the website and Instagram, our RAPIDD PROFESSIONALS 2024 Top 5 Finalists are Dr. Melissa Jules, Dr. Leon Gedeon, Garvenchy Nicolas, Claire Thomas, and Jean Paul Laraque.Â
Congratulations to our five finalists, and major congratulations to our newest cover winner: Entry #1391, Dr. Melissa Jules.
Why Entry #1391 won:
Dr. Melissa Jules won the Rapidd Professionals Haiti Open magazine cover contest this year for several reasons: (1) she ended the contest with the most votes from the overall top 10 list; (2) she consistently received a high number of daily votes throughout the contest, demonstrating her consistent promotion of her profile; (3) she received a final score of 2.5%, which was the third lowest among the top 10 overall; (4) her Instagram voting score stands at 97%, the highest among the 9 video interviews published on Instagram; and (5) her video interview received the most shares.
