I am originally from Boston, MA. Growing up Haitian, i was always made to feel like I wasn't truly Haitian because I couldn't fluently speak Haitian creole. As i grew up, my pride for being Haitian and educating others on our history grew. As of 2024, I have never felt more beautiful than I do today and my pride and joy for being Haitian also at its highest and that is what I want to showcase in being in the magazine. As an unrepresented model, I feel like this would be the push i need to keep going and pushing forward in my career. I have dedicated my adult life to cooking Haitian food, hoping to visit the motherland, and learning our language and culture. I want the Haitian community and world to finally see me.
