Hey, I’m Romnie Vertus, a 23-year-old entrepreneur from Haiti. I hold an Associate degree in Business Administration and am currently obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Presently, I serve as a Program Coordinator for a Substance Abuse Reduction Alliance Coalition and as an Assistant to the Executive Director of Prosperity Social & Community Development Group Inc., (PSCDG), led by Nadege Vilsaint. PSCDG is a non-profit organization committed to fostering social and economic development and providing services to underserved youth and families in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
In addition to my roles in social initiatives, I am the Executive Director of KwiAkFil, a brand specializing in handmade leather sandals from Haiti. KwiAkFil's mission is to support economic development in Haiti by creating jobs with fair wages and benefits, ultimately fostering self-sufficiency. One of our proudest accomplishments is investing in Haiti's economy through product purchases and an annual competition exclusively for Haitian residents.
