I am Haitian not just by nationality and ethnicity, but by a profound love for my homeland. As an entrepreneur and strategist, my work has always revolved around Haiti.
Although I didn’t grow up in Haiti, I’ve always felt an inexplicable pull there. While I was practicing corporate law in the US. In 2010, I felt an undeniable calling back to Haiti, where I lived for 12.5 years until a tragic incident forced me to leave my beloved home in Croix-des-Bouquets.
During my time in Haiti, my husband, myself and another partner founded MyaBèl, the first cocktail bar in Croix-des-Bouquets that celebrated Haitian ingredients. What began as a humble venture blossomed into a vertically integrated food and beverage bottling company. We cultivated half of our ingredients on a 19-acre farm, crafting a diverse line of cocktails, hot sauces, cooking sauces, and iced teas.
