My love for Haiti was passed down to me by father who would always plays kompa on Fridays after a long week of work. Little did I know as a young Boston boy that this would prepare me for my leadership role as Vice President of Houston Haitians United. But before I got this role, my relationship with the Haitian community started when I first moved to Texas and realized that we weren’t many. As fate would have it, I found a Haitian church in San Antonio and it was then I decided to have the first Haitian party in Texas. It was very primitive but people came from all over the state. From that one party the majority of the Texas Haitian organization came to be. I also hold the pride and joy of being one the longest active Haitian Texas REALTORS.
