Since August 2022, my journey has been one of relentless pursuit and dedication. Moving to Florida to pursue my dreams at the University of Miami, I've woven a tapestry of academic excellence, professional development, and community engagement. Balancing a demanding schedule, I've worked 20 hours a week in retail to sustain myself financially while excelling academically, and maintaining a commendable GPA. However, my passion for journalism has been the driving force behind my endeavors. I've immersed myself in the broadcast field, seizing every opportunity to hone my skills and amplify diverse voices.
Currently, I wear multiple hats in the media landscape. As the host of a radio show on WVUM, a multimedia journalist for my segment on a UMTV show, and a News Intern at WTVJ NBC 6, I'm deeply entrenched in the realm of storytelling and news dissemination. Additionally, my involvement in UM's NABJ chapter, where I serve as the President, holds significant importance to me. NABJ has been instrumental in my growth, providing invaluable mentorship from esteemed journalists like Constance Jones, Calvin Hughes, Chel
