As a life & business consultant, educator and mental health advocate/instructor, it's important to me to contribute in the empowerment of our Haitian community. My ultimate goal is to get us all re-engaged in the things that will allow us to regain back control of our lives. We are a resilient nation. However, we are lacking appropriate recovery strategies. I believe mental health is the first aid and step that we should take in regaining such control. Therefore, being featured on the cover of Haiti Open is to invite each of us as Haitians to start engaging and developing strategies that allow us to stay well and function interdependently.
