My name is Sheronika Simeon, a 19 year old descendant of Haiti. I am a model, dancer, writer, flautist, athlete, and actress. I find passion in helping people and making others happy. This is why I’m currently studying to obtain a BS degree in Kinesiology. With this Bachelor’s Degree in science, I desire to become the kind of physical therapist that prevents people from having to go through surgery.
I would like to be on the cover of this magazine to exude the beautiful Haitian side of me. I want people to know that I am absolutely proud of my background and where my parents are from. It is important to me to be an example to others who has experienced bulling just for being of Haitian descent. We are absolutely beautiful and our roots makes us strong. I hope I get this cover opportunity to let others know that. If I got the opportunity to win, with the reward, I intend on using it to invest in a business I have been working on. I would also use some of the funds to put towards my school tuition.
