I’m Jolline. I’m 26 years old and I’m a fashion model from Miami, Fl. I just recently graduated with my bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and looking forward to completing a master’s degree as well. I’ve been modeling for 5 years and my current goal is to be featured on the cover of a magazine and what better way to start then with my own culture. I love celebrating and highlighting all the beautiful aspects of my culture because we don’t always get portrayed in a great way. For me, being on the cover is so much bigger than myself. I want to show many young men and woman that you can accomplish whatever you put your mind to. Within our culture, as a young child we are taught to believe that everyone should become a doctor, nurse, and etc. Although those are all great professions, these are not every individuals aspirations. Modeling has taught me that sometimes stepping outside the box doesn’t mean you won’t be successful. I’ve learned that there’s growth in being uncomfortable.
