Hello to everyone! My name is Bitana Saintilma but most people call me Tana for short. Coming to the U.S.A not knowing one word of english to where I am today is a story of fairy tales.
As most people know, here in the U.S the major coveted profession is nursing amongst the Haitian community.I have been insightful enough to practice this profession beyond the bedside.I have been involved in vaccine research to the point of being part of the COVID 19 vaccine efforts and success. Basically, I was able to work with a team to test the vaccines to guarantee its safety.
I have been an author on three major medical editorials due my research nursing contributions. At the moment, I sit as a board member of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control. To add the cherry on top, I regularly volunteer at the Washington DC Haitian embassy which is located just a few blocks from my residence. I would want to be featured amongst the top one 100 to show that amongst the pandemic, a haitian girl that was born by the seaside in the South department of Cayes Haiti was leading the charge in providing a global cure to the pandemic.
