I’m a Haitian born artist who moved to America when I was 6 years old. Even though I was raised in America, I bleed blue and red. When I first arrived in America I had no English and was placed in ESOL. Now, I’m a mother, poet, published author, mental wellness advocate, and aspiring public speaker. I want to share my story of how I got to where I am today to inspire not only my sisters and brothers, but all who feel like giving up, feel as if they’ve failed, feel that life is too tough too tough to go on. Life is what you make it. The power is in your mind.
