I am 31 years old and my ancestors dream. I have always acknowledged where I come from and the work my parents have endured to get me to where I am. I am currently an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a great future. My parents have instilled their hopes and dreams into my brother and I. We have exceeded their expectations. Being Haitian to means strength, resilience, and power. I am SO proud to be Haitian. I thank God for putting me right where I needed to be.
