My name is Shawn Douglas Marseille. I was born and raised in the Hudson Valley in upstate New York, just an hour north of New York City. I would like to be on the cover of Haiti Open magazine based on what I represent and what I stand for being a Haitian American, with my own unicorn flair. My education, career, passions, and interests can serve as a source of inspiration for other Haitians trying to find their way and voice. My education background consists of holding a Bachelor’s & Master’s degree at the University at Buffalo. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 2018 followed by my Master of Engineering in Engineering Management in 202. I have had the privilege to already work for several Fortune 500 companies, such as Amazon, onsemi, and Northrop Grumman. I currently am the Senior Manager of Business Solutions at my current company of employment, GTI Fabrication, a rapidly growing multi-million dollar company focused in servicing the energy storage industry. As far as my interests and passions, they lie in music and social justice, based in community.
