Hey there! I’m Serwynjha Alexandre (but you can call me Serwyn), a 26-year-old Haitian American pastry chef on a mission to spread sweetness everywhere I go! I’m an alum of the Institute of Culinary Education (not the government agency, don’t worry, I’m not that kind of ICE alumni 😉).
I run my own home-based bakery, Sins Cookies, where I take the rich, flavorful essence of my Haitian roots and mix it with the skills I’ve honed over the years to create irresistible treats. From rich flavors to fun twists, I believe every cookie and pastry should tell a story—and I want that story to be one of joy, culture, and pure deliciousness.
Winning this contest would be a game-changer for me. Not only would it give my brand the exposure it needs, but it’d bring me one step closer to my ultimate dream of opening my own bakery bar. A place where decadent pastries meet craft cocktails… What could be better than that?
