I’m a 35-year-old father of one, a devoted husband to my Haitian–Puerto Rican wife, a nursing student, and a seasoned EMT with 16 years of hands-on experience in emergency medical care. My career has been grounded in service, compassion, and resilience—qualities I now carry into my nursing journey as I work to expand my role in healthcare and community impact. My life reflects a strong commitment to both family and purpose. I want to be featured in Haiti Open Magazine to share my story as a Haitian-American husband, father, and healthcare professional who has dedicated nearly two decades to serving others. Balancing family life, nursing school, and my EMT career has taught me discipline, faith, and the value of giving back. I hope to inspire others in the Haitian and Afro-Caribbean communities especially men to pursue their goals, embrace their heritage, and make meaningful contributions.
