I would be truly honored to be on the cover of Haiti Open Magazine because it’s a chance to represent where I come from and who I am today.
Although I was born in America, my roots run deep in Haiti. Both of my grandparents were born and raised there, and so was my mother, who is the youngest of seven. I come from a family that is politically active, fashion forward, and deeply grounded in strong, conservative values. That mix has shaped how I see the world and how I carry myself.
Growing up, I was always aware of the sacrifices and strength that came before me. Now, as part of a new generation of Haitian Americans, I want to honor that legacy while creating my own path. Being featured would not just be about me. It would be about showing what’s possible when you stay connected to your culture and use your voice to inspire others.
This opportunity means more than a cover story. It’s a way to celebrate my identity, my family, and the beauty of being proud of both where you come from and where you’re going.
