Tell us about yourself: My name is Eugenie Cidoine, known as @eugenie_cid on TikTok, where I proudly represent my Haitian Culture and showcase different countries that I travel too. I’m a Haitian-American influencer with over 16,000 followers, and I use my platform to highlight the beauty, strength, and complexity of Haitian culture. From humor and food and discussing different topics. I make content that celebrates where I come from and connects with others in the diaspora.
In addition to creating content about Haiti, I studied abroad in South Korea, where I also shared my Haitian heritage with people from around the world. This experience gave me a global perspective and allowed me to show what it means to be Haitian beyond borders. My audience grew as I shared my journey with traveling around the world.
