My name is James Michael, I am a young Haitian who is passionate about creation and development. I work as a photographer and graphic designer, and I have a big dream: to serve the community through projects that bring value, education, and inspiration.
I would like to appear on the front page of Haiti Open because I believe it would be a chance to shine a light on the voices of young people with vision, who work every day to achieve their dreams despite all the difficulties. It is not only for me, but for all other young people who believe they can make a difference.
If I were to win this contest, it would help me achieve one of my two heart projects: 1) Do a training to teach other young people photography, so that they can develop themselves and put their talents to good use. 2) Or launch a clothing brand based on Haitian history, so that we can elevate our culture and tell our story in a different form.
