I am Lenzy Pierre, known as Black Emjy, a young Haitian living in Guadeloupe, and I passionately request your attention for the Haiti Open contest. My artistic and entrepreneurial journey has shaped me as a leader and creator, and I am convinced that I am the person you need to represent Haiti with dignity on the cover of your magazine.
As an author, composer and performer, my music fuses various influences, from compass to zouk, passing through troubadour, Afro and drill. I am a member of the societies SACEM, ADAMI, and La spedidam, which testifies to my commitment to the music industry. My role as an artist is not limited to the scene; I am also the owner of a hair salon and mannequin, which shows my versatility.
My artistic mission is to give a voice to those who have not, addressing themes such as violence and loneliness, all while giving hope to youth through my texts. I firmly believe that my life and my determination to make the Haitian culture shine on the international scene
