My name is Dahlia Despradel, and I’m a proud Haitian woman currently beginning my journey through law school. My goal is to use my legal career to make a real impact in the fashion world—especially in helping brands meet ethical and environmental standards while uplifting diversity. I’m passionate about fashion, not just as a form of expression, but as an industry that needs voices like mine behind the scenes, making sure our culture and values are respected.
A few years ago, I had the honor of being first runner-up in the Miss Choucoune Haitian Heritage Pageant, which allowed me to represent my roots on stage and show the beauty and strength of Haitian women. That experience made me even more proud of who I am and where I come from.
Being selected as one of Haiti Open Magazine’s Top 100 Hottest Haitian Women would mean more than just a title—it would be a celebration of everything I stand for: brains, beauty, purpose, and pride in my culture.
