My name is Alex Bernadotte. I’m a Haitian-American actor from South Florida and I’m a former athlete who’s steadily rising in the film industry, with recent co-star credits on CBS’s FBI: Most Wanted and ABC’s Will Trent. But beyond the screen, I represent the resilience, discipline, and quiet strength that’s deeply rooted in our Haitian culture. I believe I should be on the cover of Haiti Open Magazine not just because of where I’m going, but because of where I come from. Every audition, every “no,” every setback, I’ve used it as fuel to keep showing up, not only for myself, but for the next generation of Haitian creatives who need to see that it’s possible. This cover wouldn’t just feature me, it would reflect the story of a people who have always found a way, even when the world said otherwise. I appreciate y’all! 🙏🏾
