My name is FAIKA. I am a Haitian born and bread girl from Port Prince. When I was younger, I found out that my name‘s means better and I’ve always strive to do better for myself in every way possible. Whether it was for school for personal growth or anything like that, it has always been part of who I am. I came to the United States when I was nine and my dream was to always travel and to explore the world which I have been given by God‘s grace, the chance to do and have enjoyed every second of it. I would love to be a part of the magazine, just because my whole essence revolves around being Haitian, as it has always been something that I have been proud of, and have grown to admire even more. Especially within this time politically.
