Growing up in Naples, Florida I loved the sense of community that came with it. From my parents going to the Haitian grocery store, our Haitian Baptist church, or the Haitian dry cleaners we got to have a little bit of Haiti with us. I came from Delma 6, Port au Prince, Haiti when I was 3 years old so that feeling of familiarity meant everything. In our brand, my twin sister, Guerds Jean and I choose to focus on issues that affect our people even today such as immigration and health issues. I came to America on a medical visa to receive my second open heart operation. Fast forward to a Stroke and 6 months in a coma later, my heart condition still affects me today. When people look at us, they don’t see children of adoption, murdered parents, health crisis and immigration issues, because we choose to be the epitome of overcoming challenges. We’ve reached so much of an audience with our twin and personal brand from magazine interviews, to podcast interviews, radio show interviews to our continuous promotions.
