I’m Dr. Kenny Francois, CEO of a nonprofit organization called Lift English Language Learners to Success, doing business as L.E.T.S Community Center ( L.E.T.S ).our vision is to lift all families while building a stronger. We provide educational services, Social services and Community services. Our biggest challenge for the year 2024 was to assist a family after a tragic accident resulting to the death of the husband as he was on his way home from work. The corpse remained at the morgue for 3 months, awaiting for the wife to enter the Country from Haiti. Unfortunately, she was not able to obtain a visa to do so, even with the help of a lawyer. She found us on television and decided to pour her heart out crying for help. It was very sad situation. I took it very personal and decided to take matter as a priority. After many meetings with many elected officials, the Congresswoman, Senators, Department State of Florida, and everyone I can get in the case, I received a call from the Congresswoman stated that the case was closed because there was no answer from the embassy in Haiti after they sent letters inquiring on the matter.
