My name is Bency Laurent, and I am the founder of ZulieSwim a swimwear line created with a passion to empower women, especially young Haitian women, to embrace their unique beauty and confidence. As a former model, I spent countless hours on set in swimwear, but I often struggled to find pieces that truly made me feel both confident and comfortable. Seeing other women face the same challenges, ill-fitting suits and designs that didn’t flatter diverse body types was the turning point for me. That’s when I knew it was time to create something different.

I founded ZulieSwim with the goal of designing swimwear that empowers every woman to feel beautiful, confident, and at ease. whether she’s lounging on the beach, swimming in the ocean, or enjoying a sunny day by the pool. My story is rooted in the desire to inspire young Haitian women to embrace their unique beauty and confidence. I believe my journey will encourage them to be unapologetically themselves and to know that their dreams are valid, no matter where they come from.
