I am Jean Paul Laraque, an independent director and producer with over two decades of experience in commercial productions, corporate films, and documentaries. As the co-founder and producer at Graphcity S.A., one of Haiti’s leading production companies, I spent 20 years crafting compelling narratives and driving innovation in film and video production.

Now based in Miami, I continue my filmmaking journey with the same passion that has defined my career. I am proud to produce the hit Miami-based show Kreyol Kap Pale and create compelling video content for Maybelline Photography. Recently, I launched Boothla Rentals, a photobooth and 360 booth business blending professional film techniques with creative direction to deliver unmatched event experiences.

Being on the cover of Haiti Open Magazine would spotlight my journey as a Haitian filmmaker and entrepreneur, inspiring others to dream big. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the resilience and creativity of the Haitian community and our contributions to global innovation.
