I feel like my story is a little different than most. I lived in Haiti until I was only 2. My mom and dad knew how bad it already was and knew it wasn’t getting better so they gave their only son, me so I could go make something of myself somewhere else safer in the world. I was adopted by an American family, they were amazing I have 3 older sisters and a Haitian brother. Together we’ve been through a lot. That’s why I feel like I should have a spot because through all that hardship I experienced and learned so much
