It was a stellar year for many Haitian artists and creators who made the magazine’s Top 40 Artists & Creators cover story nominations for 2025, and we applaud all of them for their continued effort to contribute to the Haitian culture. We believe that among the top 10 most-voted cover story nominees this year, Medjy Toussaint‘s 48 Rebecca Tour commercial success in 2025 set a new bar for what Haitian artists can accomplish and deserves a cover story, in-depth analysis, and further promotion to inspire others in the Haitian community.
Our other four finalists for 2025, Rutshelle Guillaume, Steves J. Bryan, Vanessa Desire, and Maybeline Despagne, will each receive a sponsored photoshoot from the magazine for their two-page interview spread inside the print magazine and their own digital covers.
Each year, Haiti Open magazine selects 40 artists and creators who have produced outstanding Haitian-related content in their respective fields and holds an annual contest (from 12.12 through 12.21) that allows fans to vote on which artist or creator should be the cover story of the year.
The magazine will select the cover person from the top 10 most-voted artists and creators at the end of the contest (12.21.2025).
Cast your daily vote for your favorite artist or creator (from 12.12.2025 through 12.21.2025) to help decide which artist or creator should be Haiti Open magazine’s cover story of the year. Each artist and creator has a unique voting link you (or their team) can share.
