Hello My name Frantz Maurose born and raised in Miami. I am excited to apply for "Haiti Open" magazine contest. Although I was not fortunate to be born in Haiti, however I still feel I'm part of the culture because my parents are from Haiti, " Mwen Se Ayisyen tou''. I have always had a passion for modeling and joining the art world, however my parents have always been against it and only believed in education. That is understandable, they came to the United States and their priority was to make sure the same childhood they had was different for me and my siblings. Thanks to their sacrifice after eight years of school, I was able to achieve my Bachelors in Nursing. Nonetheless, I still felt there was a void in my life. I knew deep down in me I wanted to model and explore the art industry. Not knowing the right steps to take; I took a leap of Fatih in freelance modeling so far I most admit the experience has been challenging, fun and mentally rewarding. I believe being part of "Haiti Open" magazine would allow me to represent Haiti in a positive manner. Also prove to my parents that modeling is not a sin and make a statment to others that you can
