Hi,
I’m Mimi and I’m in my mid 30s. Born in Haiti and rasied here in the states. Grew up with the American culture but definitely, my parents ensured that I kept my Haitian heritage and so I grew up with our Haitian principles.
I live in the Tampa Bay area with my family.
I’m an entrepreneur, a USF alumni and a NOVA post graduate in Business Administration. I am the founder and CEO of a luxury handbag and accessory brand, Luxe & Royalty Designs and I also own a travel company, Luxe My Travel. Both can be found on Instagram. I wanted to be part of the selected to share my story and motivate our young Haitian kings and queens to pursue their dreams and don’t listen to the naysayers. Many will discourage but persevere and believe in yourself. We are the future of Haiti and we have an opportunity to represent who we are with pride.
I am a testimony that you can do it too! Just believe and put in the work. The road is not easy but being persistent will pay off at the end.
