My name is Valerie Vilme, I am 40 years old. I was born in Haiti, I am the proud owner of a Catering business as well as many other ventures, I am an award winning Published Author to a Haitian cookbook, as well as launched my own seasoning line. I am a lover of people and have done plenty and many good deeds that I am super proud of ,for example giving out scholarships to seniors of immigrants as a give back to how I wish that was me back when I was in school. Knowing what it's like to struggle or even gone hungry has opened my eyes and my heart to constantly give back. There's only so much one can really say in a few sentences, but for many reason I would like to be part of the HaitiOpens mag because I represent what Haiti represent. I am resilient, I am a fighter, I am nurturing, despite the obstacles I face, I stand.
