Parents From: American Haitian
My mother is an American-born Haitian along with many of my family members. I think it's important to show American-born Haitian pride because it is a difference and that's another story. However, like many Haitian families, I am the first in my family to get into a college degree which led to many of my family members following suit. I am also the first and only doctor on my mother's side which is a huge deal. I am currently in the process of going back to school to get licensure and complete my clinical for mental health therapy. I am also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc and a graduate of public, private, and Hbcu. I would love for my people to see the many faces of Haitian success.
